‘Little Eye’
On Tuesday 22nd October, up and coming Scottish band ‘Little Eye’ visited Monifieth High School as part of their Anti Drugs tour.  The Glasgow based group, who are the winners of the Young Scot Award Unsigned Band of the Year, recently performed as the support band for the Olly Murs in a concert in Glasgow.  Three members of the band visited the school for the afternoon and performed a selection of songs from their forthcoming new album to the S3 and S4 pupils, as well as singing a song with lyrics which support the important anti-drugs theme.  The band also shared some personal stories of a friend who had died after he tried ecstasty for the first time.

The band caused quite a stir with the young people and many pupils enjoyed having their photographs taken with band members and ‘Little Eye’ were very happy to sign autographs and answer some of the many questions asked by the young people.
